Position Overview:

As a Manufacturing Engineer at Hayden Industrial, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and driving efficiency in the production of air-cooled heat exchangers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and support the development of cutting-edge heat exchanger solutions. This position will report to the Vice President and General Manager of the Tulsa operation. Some travel/international travel may be required for vendor identification, vendor auditing, and equipment selection and acceptance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Continuous improvement: Continuously assess and enhance manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and elevate product quality for air-cooled heat exchangers. You will take a lead leadership role to identify and implement lean practices.

2. Quality Assurance: Collaborate closely with the quality control team to establish and maintain stringent quality standards and procedures for air-cooled heat exchanger production.

3. Design Integration: Provide valuable input on heat exchanger designs to ensure manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with customer requirements.

5. Equipment Enhancement: Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades, maintenance, or replacement to enhance production capabilities and minimize downtime in the manufacturing process. Take the lead managing and specifying new equipment as well as integration.

6. Root Cause Analysis: Investigate and resolve production issues by conducting thorough root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

7. Documentation Management: Develop and maintain comprehensive manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flowcharts, and standard operating procedures.

8. Cost Efficiency: Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce manufacturing expenses while upholding the highest product quality standards.

9. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality teams to support the development and introduction of new air-cooled heat exchanger products and technology.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably within the air-cooled heat exchanger industry.
  • Profound knowledge of air-cooled heat exchanger design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and other relevant engineering tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies is advantageous.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Data Center Development Engineer specializing in cooling solutions to join our innovative team. As a leading manufacturer of dry coolers and advanced cooling technologies, we are looking for an experienced professional with expertise in data center infrastructure design, thermal management, and engineering development. This role will involve designing, developing, and implementing efficient and reliable cooling solutions for large-scale data center deployments while driving innovation and ensuring alignment with company and industry standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate in the design and deployment of dry cooler systems, hybrid cooling systems and advanced cooling solutions in support of data center infrastructure projects.
  • Plan and execute data center cooling strategies to optimize energy efficiency, operational performance, and environmental sustainability.
  • Collaborate with internal design, engineering, and operations teams to define system performance goals and ensure integration with data center operations.
  • Present solutions directly to commercial partners and support in solution design and execution
  • Perform feasibility studies, system simulations, and risk assessments to identify opportunities and resolve technical challenges associated with thermal management in data centers.
  • Design of dry cooler systems, accessories and similar such cooling technologies form the point of idea generation to manufacturing release.
  • Analyze system performance data and recommend improvements to enhance cooling efficiency, capacity, and reliability.
  • Partner with vendors and suppliers to select appropriate components and materials that align with design goals and operational needs.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and environmental regulations (e.g., energy codes, sustainability goals).
  • Create technical documentation, including system designs, schematics, operation manuals, and change logs.
  • Stay current with advancements in cooling technologies and data center infrastructure trends to ensure continuous innovation and optimal design approaches.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience: 2–5+ years of experience in data center cooling design, thermal management systems, or HVAC-related engineering design within mission-critical facilities.
  • Proven experience with dry coolers, heat exchange technologies, evaporative cooling and advanced cooling technologies in mission-critical environments.
  • Familiarity with simulation tools (e.g., CFD software) to model airflow, heat dissipation, and system performance.
  • Experience with data center infrastructure design, including power and cooling integration, airflow management, and redundancy strategies.
  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or other engineering design tools).
  • Working knowledge of energy efficiency standards and data center cooling system performance metrics.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as PMP, ASHRAE certifications, or similar credentials in mechanical systems or thermal design.
  • Experience with innovative cooling technologies or emerging sustainable cooling strategies.
  • Familiarity with environmental management systems and renewable energy use in large-scale data center design.
  • Strong experience working with cross-functional teams, contractors, and third-party vendors.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Project/Program Lead to act as the primary liaison between our customers, sales, and operations teams. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of cooling infrastructure projects by serving as a single point of contact for assigned customer projects and programs. The ideal candidate will have experience managing technical projects, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to the highest standard of quality.

The Project/Program Lead will oversee the end-to-end execution of customer orders, focusing on ensuring alignment between customer expectations, technical execution, and operational delivery.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during the order execution process, building strong relationships and ensuring trust through consistent communication and transparency.
  • Coordinate between Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to align on technical requirements, timelines, resource needs, and deliverables for each customer project.
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring all milestones are met in line with customer expectations.
  • Monitor and oversee the execution of cooling infrastructure projects, including dry cooler system deployment, design adjustments, and infrastructure integration.
  • Identify risks and resolve potential issues proactively by collaborating with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors.
  • Facilitate technical discussions and problem-solving during the design, procurement, and deployment phases to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Track and report on project progress, performance, and risks to both the customer and internal leadership.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including project timelines, scope adjustments, change orders, and technical requirements.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers to support long-term partnerships, uncover opportunities for feedback, and identify opportunities to add value through proactive collaboration.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related technical or business discipline. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum 4-8 years of experience managing technical projects, customer-facing roles, or cross-functional programs, ideally in industries related to cooling solutions, HVAC, or data center infrastructure.
  • Proven experience managing projects with cross-functional teams, ensuring flawless execution from planning through delivery.
  • Strong background in project management methodologies and tools (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, etc.).
  • Familiarity with dry coolers, thermal management systems, and data center cooling infrastructure.
  • Experience with managing technical and operational handovers, customer expectations, and technical design feedback.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management qualifications.
  • Proven experience in managing cooling infrastructure projects, data center cooling designs, or mechanical system integration.
  • Exposure to customer success management, supply chain coordination, and vendor management.
  • Experience using project tracking and collaboration tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or other planning and tracking software.
